Dr Colin Harrison (PhD)
Colin is the founder and Director of H C Maïa Services.
Colin has a PhD in Neurocognitive Linguistics and more than thirty years’ experience working in the domain of professional and business communications, as a teacher, personal and group trainer and consultant.
For many years Colin was a senior lecturer in the French university system (Université de Strasbourg, Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard, Université de La Rochelle), teaching language and communication skills, as well as working as a consultant offering professional cultural adaptation workshops for French multinationals.
More recently, Colin has been closely involved with the Australian Employment Services sector, Local Government and Community bodies across Australia, assisting a number of organisations with project development and Government grant application processes. He has been a board member of the Hobsons Bay Community Advancement Cooperative, as well as a member of the Client Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC) that helps to shape the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
Colin brings to the table outstanding writing, excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, and also graphic design capacity and extensive IT understanding. He is a calm, solutions-oriented professional.
